Welcome to Our Zone! I think we just gave ourselves away. We are Halstra and Asal, two A’tin writers who have come together to create a blog with the vision to help facilitate the rise of not only P-pop and OPM, but Asian music as a whole, on the world stage. Though we come from different parts of the world, we been brought together by our love for our artists (and their admiral fashion choices).
Halstra
I'm Halstra and I hail from the United States. SB19 is my first ever group I've been a fangirl for. When I'm not writing or fangirling, I watch C-dramas and play video games. I'm passionate about how we can bring unity to diverse groups and promote understanding and empathy. We are more alike than we are different, and it's time that we all remember that. We are stronger together than we can ever be divided.
Asal
I'm Asal and I'm from the Philippines. SB19 is the first time in my life I've ever been willing to fangirl over any group. I’ve been a writer and researcher since forever, and a foodie when not at the keyboard. It’s always been a dream to see Original Pilipino Music on the world stage, as it adds another layer of spice to what’s been cooking for years. Finally hearing World Music feature music truly from all over the world? That’s a goal.
